My Experience: Is your lipstick
just not doing the trick? Well, let me recommend this awesome lip stain. This
specific product by NYC is water-based and dries very quickly after
application. It actually looks like a marker, and it even feels like you’re
using a marker when you apply it. All you do is wipe it across your lips and
voilà, the more layers you add, the more noticeable the color becomes! I
absolutely love lip stain because of its long-lasting effect and ability to be
smudge-proof. Lipstick and lip gloss tend to become messy and oftentimes
sticky, but once the stain dries you can’t even tell there is anything on your
lips. I am continuously amazed at how long the color stays on through eating
and drinking. It is offered in many different colors that are perfect for a
night on the town or a long day in the office. I would like to mention that because
it is a lip STAIN, it does exactly that, so be careful during application. If
you accidentally get some on your skin it is a little tricky to get off, but
thankfully this product has a pointed edge that makes it easier to “stay in the
lines” of your lips.
Pro Tip: I usually apply lip stain first, and then a clear lip
balm on top to add moisture.
