My Experience: I adore this
Pressed Mineral Foundation. It is a mineral makeup, so it does not include parabens, fragrance, talcum powder, preservatives, oil, or other harsh
chemicals. Therefore, it is ideal for my skin type, which is sensitive and
breakout-prone. When you first apply the foundation, it goes on very soft and
delicate. Depending on your application technique, you can go from sheer to
full coverage, which is another benefit of this product. I chose to go with a
pressed foundation instead of a loose powder formula because of its ability to
change coverage amounts. It is referred to as a “buildable” foundation, because
you are able to add layers depending on how much coverage you need without it
looking “caked on.” Even on days when I need more coverage, I notice my skin
still looks natural. It is a matte finish, so it does not make your face
sparkle unnaturally, and it is really great for covering those unwanted shine
spots. If you are prone to those shiny oil spots, this mineral makeup has great
absorption. As you’ll find out, I am HUGE on cruelty-free products, and I am
happy to say that this is a vegan brand that does not test on animals. Many of
you may be wondering why I chose to go with Cover | FX instead of the
better-known competitor, bareMinerals. The answer is easy, Cover | FX has a
larger range of tones that better matched my skin. In that area, bareMinerals
was lacking incredibly. If you are interested in trying this product, stop into
your local Sephora store and an esthetician will help match your skin tone.

I'd never heard of this brand before, but now I really want to check it out. Good recommendation, Kaylee!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Valerie! It is a little more expensive than "drug store brands," but I think it is well worth the money.
